Kind of freaking out...

We are getting married 9 months from today. We got engaged about 5 weeks ago- but we kind of had to rush due to a change in job location, etc. We knew this had to be done by next August 1!

So far we have met with the priest, set the date, done FOCCUS, registered for Pre-Cana, booked the RH, ordered my dress, booked flowers, booked the photog, booked the DJ and yet I am completely freaking out! Oh, and my STDs arrived yesterday!

FH is up in grad school, and I am living in DC working full time (just finished my Masters). I am trying to complete my registration exams before I go looking for a new job in Manhattan (that is where FH's job awaits our arrival), and do this planning from a distance. Since FH is doing work all the time, he has yet to give me one address of his (I have about 90 percent of mine logged in).

I am stuck on invites, hair and makeup, and transportation. Oh right, and a place to stay. And a gluten free rehearsal dinner location. The invites are the big thing, and also how did everyone address their STDs? Just by hand?

I have been studying all day, and the beer I just had made me stress out even more! Exams, wedding, moving....I need some calming guidance! eeek!

Thanks for listening to the rant....since FH isn't here, both he and my mom get it over the phone instead. I just feel like I am doing this all by myself (although my roomie has been awesome, but she is studying for the LSATS in 2 weeks and is just as stressed as I am!)

we all understand the stress - but i need to applaud you for all that you've already accomplished in such a short time.

you have plenty of time for that stuff. take a deep breath and relax tonight. tomorrow you can get back into it. it will all get done

as for addressing the std i printed the envelopes i already had the list on the computer so it didn't take long.

yes i agree with everyone... you deserve a break! you've done so much already and all the big stuff is out of the way... you're up to the 'little' stuff now. take it easy for a while and then get back into it.

I think you've done a great job so far! I haven't gotten nearly any of that stuff done yet.
You need to relax and have a non wedding day!
You can get back to it later. Take a break and then you can start looking for the rest of the things you need.
I did that this week because I was getting overwhelmed and it really helped.

Just wanted to help with the STDs I feed the envelop through the computer. People thought we had them printed.

But on clear labels or by hand is good too. I just have horrible handwriting so that was not an option for me.
