So FH asked his mom last night if she wants to come to NY in Jan to go shopping with me for my dress. She had offered when our wedding was originally supossed to be this year but now she is complaining it will be too cold and she only offered because I wasn't close to my family at the time. I understand they now live in Vegas but I am going to be her only DIL. Maybe I am being too sensitive I just feel like she really doesn't care that we are getting married at all.

i was in a similar situation, and it hurt my feelings beyond belief. I stopped asking them to come places so i wouldnt be pissed. Sorry hun maybe ask a friend to go instead

My aunt and 2 of my BMs are going so I have support its just frustrating.

I really feel your pain...FMIL does not care at all that FH and I are getting married...so I stopped asking her if she wanted to know anything about the wedding. It still hurts, but not as much.
