They were talking about getting fake ering and wedding bands for the honeymoon so you dont have to worry about losing the real one or having it stolen. I think it's an awesome idea! What do you girls think? Planning on getting one?

I don't think I'll be able to part with my wedding band after wearing it for only 2 days. I would whine the entire honeymoon about missing my rings and drive FH crazy.

i think its a great idea. FH and i wen to the bahamas a few months ago and i bought a fake ering so i wouldnt lose my real one. let me tell u it was sooo worth it... i never took it off. I felt ok leaving it on in the pool and ocean.

I almost feel like it would be fun to get a completely different style ring than I have now... for a while before I decided I wanted a round solitare I was thinking about an antique style ring so I think it might be cool to have it for the honeymoon.
I'm still super paranoid about my ring and now it's insured. I'm pretty sure we'll do a beach type place for our honeymoon and dont want to even think about panicking!

That's what I'm talking about. I could never imagine what I would do if something happen to my real ring. I would go nuts. An not for nothing I do not trust the in room safe.

I actually did that already because I left for Ft.Lauderdale a few weeks after we got engaged. I was really nervous since I was going to be with a whole group of girls partying. I went to Tri-County Flea market in Levittown and found a engagement ring that was perfect. I paid 15 dollars!!! Nobody could tell the difference and I felt alot better!!!
A friend of mine did that and since then I taught that was great idea. While you on your honeymoon you we do not need to worry something happening to the ring. A co-worker of mine lost her ringin the ocean on her honeymoon.

i don't think we are going to be somewhere that will be near the ocean where we would be doing ocean activities (because of my heat problem) so I think ill be ok to have mine on

My FH's cousin did the exact copy of her wedding ring set and said it was 100% worth it... I plan on doing the same thing- god forbid something happened to my rings when I couldv'e avoided it!

A friend of FH proposed to his GF... now fiance. When he gave her the ring she got a small ring. I don't know what her reaction was. Then he said that's the ring you wear when you go out. He gave her another ring... that was worth a lot and said this is the ring you wear when you're with me.
I think it's a great idea!
