kinda funny question *updated*

I'm meeting w/ my first officiant in about an hour... at a diner.

Am I supposed to offer to buy his lunch???


UPDATE:

oh my goodness, so I decided that I was going to offer to pay. So as the bill came I started to say 'you don't have to leave anything' as he was going through his wallet.

i only got as far as 'you don't have to...' and he said 'i'm just going to leave for what i got and the tip' b/c he thought i thought he was paying for me and going to leave $$ for both of us.

when in fact i was just going to attempt to offer to pay.

so awkward. next time? i keep my mouth shut

hmm thats tough because you are going during lunch time, so they may be expecting it?

maybe you can do that polite offer and the second they say no no, then DON'T keep doing the 'no no I will get it' because they might say yes???

hahaha I'm not sure.. I did REALLY REALLY like him, but I have a few more appointments, so I want to check them out first.

Hopefully if I do book him, we can get over our awkward past
