kinda over the whole wedding thing

right now is exactly 5 months = 150 days away from my wedding and I cant seem to get myself back into planning.

I am seriously dreading doing anything on my gazillion item to do list. Not even dreading, more like dont feel like it. So over the whole thing.

Wish it was already like June, so I can start enjoying my life, money and finally start apt shopping.

Cant believe there are another 5 months of all of this.............

Help to motivate me!

dont worry. how much do you have left to do? i think you are pretty much set on the big vendors. why not take a break for the holidays and start fresh in 2010

in 2010 everything will seem soooo realll!!! just enjoy your engaged time with FH!

i know the feeling, i know the reaon however for me is that i am so stressed about money that i just cant stand taking out another 50 bucks for this and that. youll get back into it though when you have to- at like 1 month to go, LOL

I was just going to say the same thing. Take a break during the holidays and start again in January

think of how gorgeous you are going to look, partying with all of your family and his as a married couple, having a photographer follow you around like your own personal paparazzi, getting dolled up with your closest girlfriends, calling him your husband for the first time, hearing him call you his wife for the first time, the awesome food, yummy cake, dancing the night away....and smile

for me its not the money, is just shear exhaustion and thins being this huge anxiety and stress center in my life due to the anticipation

I just want it to be here already and be like 'phew!'

I took off over a month off, and I want to do these small things like right now, cause my mom keeps finding me new to do items to add on to my list.

I feel totally overwhelmed, didnt expect this wedding planning to be so complicated.

FH himself has already a lot of things he is working on for the wedding, so I dont want to overwhelm him more even

reg im totally with you on this....i did so much planning over the summer that now im just tired of it but i figure I'll take a break now and get right back into it in the new year ...you know we're all here to help your planning easier so just let us know when you need something

OMG I am totally with you on this...And getting married around the same time as you.

I just feel really unmotivated...I think it may be slight depression over all the money this is costing to be honest.

And Im starting to get worried becasue its getting close and I feel really behind.

The funny thing is I never thought this would be me. I looovvve weddings and loved planning in the beginning, so to feel like this now, I just dont know where it came from

you still got a lot of time... what do you have left?
can you try taking a break for a few weeks?
