Kinda sad

Last year, I was let go from a really good paying job, with people I have known for years.... but the company wasn't making the money it needed to stay running

So in January, I was hired at a great LI company for a temp job. The timing was perfect IMO cause it was supposed to end May 31 - 2 weeks before my wedding! And since we were planning on moving to NC, I figured this would be perfect!

Little did I know that I would really enjoy my job and everyone I work with - directly and indirectly. My supervisor was able to extend my contract 1 more month, but now I have 5 working days left and I am sad that I have to leave

So come July 1, I will be unemployed again.... for 4 weeks. I'm really not happy about it at all and am starting to look for another job. So if anyone needs someone for 4 weeks - basic accounting, receptionist, TONS of swimming pool knowledge - lemme know

Sorry I don't know of any jobs, but I know how you feel about leaving a job--especially when you like working there. Jobs where you actually like the people your work with are hard to find. I used to live in NC (Chapel Hill/Raleigh) for about 10 years. I probably can't help with a job, but fm me if you need any help/info.

Ah Annie, sorry to hear that. It is soo hard...I worked the best temporary job ever for three and half years (crisis counseling following 9-11) and had to leave when the funding ran out, it was the most difficult leaving ever!
You'll find something, hopefully with great people as well, good luck!!

We're moving to Morrisville outside of Raleigh. I'm hoping someone in RTP will hire me. lol

I have to leave my job also. I got this job two months fresh out of college and I LOVE this job! My colleagues are like my family. It's so hard! I know exactly what you're going through.
