So my photog never gave me my engagement pics on a cd just printed, I am scanning them in and using them for my table numbers, should I call him and tell him? I dont want to get in trouble for using his pics without his consent, am I right??
I don't think it's necessary to call and tell him. But with my photog, I don't get the CD of my engagement photos until after I pay my balance and pick up my albums. But when I wanted to use our e-pics, I told my photog which ones I planned on using and she happily sent emailed me the high res files of the ones I wanted.
I would say they are yours unless it says on the picture that it is copyrighted and cannot be duplicated. But if you feel awkward about re-using them then I guess it would not hurt to ask
