a while ago when FH and I picked out and bought our wedding bands, he just wanted something simple and thinner than a usual man's band.
he just wanted white gold and that was it.
so my mom the other day was looking at it and was like 'that's what you got him?' 'dont you think its a little small?' (meaning thin)
I just got upset bc thats the one he wanted, he's not a flashy guy and he said he wanted something easy to have on while playing sports lol
Should I get upset?

Don't get upset, it's what he wanted right? You can always use the excuse to buy him a new thicker one for the 5 year anniversary.......

ITA with this!! if it is what he likes then stick with it, he is the one that has to wear it! My FH wanted something simple also with nothing extra added to it.

I think you're just having a normal reaction to the wedding planning. I think you took your Mom's comment as a judgement. If that's what your Fh wants it's all good!
My mom has made similar comments on things I've done for my wedding and instead of getting upset I should really just say that's what I like.

Not at all, you got him exactly what he wanted! He will love it I'm sure,, everyone has different taste in jewelry your mom just doenst know his taste.
