so I have been pondering some things and needed to see if anyone else has experienced this problem...so
Does any ones FH come from a small family that is having a hard time accepting that 'we' (as in FH and you) are the new priority and that they need to stop with the well we are your family crap

We have the opposite problem... FH's family barely calls us now that me and him 'are a family'. It hurts him so much because my parents and I, when we aren't fighting (lol), are super close.

bc they are selfish ppl weell imo from what i went though i had to kids with fh and i never ever treated him bad i was sweet to them and kind i guess they wanted me to be a crazy bi...

Yes, family is important...But when you are starting your own family, thats what needs to come first, your spouse...Not your cousin's boyfriend's birthday party, your spouse who is home sick...Not your Uncle who wants to go to dinner, your spouse who cooked you a nice meal... Sometimes the 'adults' forget what its like to start a family...they need a kick in the shins...

OMG... so annoying... His family expects him to be around forever and cannot cut the umbilical cord. I am like, they have to start getting used to this because you're going to have a NEW family very soon aka me, and I will be your first priority, not them. He is their golden child son

I agree with the Italian thing. FH is the first born son, first born cousin, first born everything... which makes everything 100x worse!

we need to form a club lol. my fh isnt even the golden child. since his dad died he has taken over this weird father figure role and has to be at everything for his brother and mom. which is great but when there are multiple times to go see a show or something then we shouldnt have to be there on specific days that inconvience us. he may not be going to a showcase at our rh because he needs to collect money at a fundraiser for his brother. i dont know why someone else cant stand around with a basket!
