so i signed up for pre-cana a long time ago anf we signed up for one in march...i still havent heard anything about it so i called the church...they fwded me to the class teacher. the teacher tells me 'i start the class in february so if you don't hear from me by then thats when i'd start to worry' this is the one thing i'm most likely to become bridezilla about because the church is not an option. if it starts a month from now...shouldn't we have been contacted by now???

you should have been contacted but then again some procedures are handled differently try to keep following up - the good thing is you still have some time just in case

I am actually finishing my pre-cana this Saturday. My church gave me the dates and time of pre-cana back in September and never contacted me again. I had to call them to verify and find out which room they were doing it in. I would just keep following up with them.

Its okay the precana coordinator called me. I was at work so I didnt get the call. Called her back later that evening and left a message. That was last Tues!!! UGHH where is my call back!??
I dont get sometimes how they run things over at my church and I think it is kinda rude they dont give you information or call. And I really need to talk to them about precana since FH wont be home until like a month before our wedding.

in my experience not necessarily...we registered online for precana through the rockville centre diocese and i did nt receive confirmation that we could go etc til about 2 weeks before it began...HTH...also, have they accepted your payment yet? that might kinda help???

Every parish handleds it differently. My parish happened to be in touch a few times already. We did our Focuus test last week and we start Pre-Cana on the 24th.

okay dont panic i didnt hear from my church until 2 weeks before the precana session was to start but dont get me wrong i called almost everyday to see what the heck was up and where was my info for the classes

Depends on the Church...i found out 3 weeks before it started. I'm getting married June 28 and i wont be finished with pre-cana till almost March!! Dont be too worried, just stay on top of it!

i registered online and i got a confirmation email. then the first night i went to the place where our first class was and they showed us what room it was. i didnt talk to my church about it. but for us our first night the teacher never came but we finished it in the three classes

We were notified only like two weeks before...I guess that's normal for some churches. I called weekly though just to make sure I didn't miss it lol

We are doing Precana through FH's church. We went for FOCCUS last January but we haven't heard anything about Precana. FH has called at least 3 times and they keep telling him....someone will get back to you. I guess they get to everyone eventually!
