does anyone have a California King as opposed to a King? Any issues? Is bedding more expensive for the California King and harder to find than the King?

the only issue I know of is the California King is bigger in some way and sheets seem to be harder to find and more $$

the Cali King is longer....by 6 or 8 inches I think. I would assume that the bedding would be more expensive due to the size. I would do a search on JCPennys website, Bed bath and byond, and Linens N things and see what thier prices are.
Also a good place for sheets is Ebay. I have seen some great deals on sheet sets!!

It is huge (make sure it fits in your doorway) and sheets are a pain.

Absolutely make sure it fits in your doorway! I had a co-worker that had this problem!! And ended up having to pay a hefty 're-stocking fee' in order to return it.

I love my cal king bed, unfortunately most dept. stores do not carry cal king. Home Goods has the best prices and the nicest variety of sheets/bed linens.
