So FH's grandfather was going to print out our CD labels so that I wouldn't have to fool with it b/c I lack all necessary patience to design them, let alone print them. He tells me to buy him some ink and supply the labels. I thought, ok...that's easy. Well, he has an Epson printer....so every color is a sep. cartridge...I didn't know which ones to buy yesterday so later on in the evening, I asked him.....he told me to buy all of them...now, I know we need a lot of labels, but 6 sep. ink cartridges plus the package of labels was going to be at least $100!!!!! I thought, no, this is stupid, I will figure it out and do it on my printer before I'll do that.....what I had originally asked for was for him to print them and tell me what the supplies cost him....if he doesn't use the entire cartridge of light magenta, why should I pay for it??? I know he wanted to do them, but I just couldn't justify $100 when this was supposed to be a money saving DIY project.
I called printing places, one place quoted me at $180!!! Yikes...I was almost afraid to call anywhere else...but I called Kinkos anyway.....they are my new hero....$58. YAY!!!!!!!!
