Kitchen kart help!

Kitchen kart help!

FH and I have a decent size kitchen, but we have noooo kitchen counter space. We have a big empty space next to the fridge so when we moved here we figured we would buy a kitchen kart. Fh's mom got us a very nice expensive one from jc penny and when fh and his dad were putting it together, the last piece was missing. JC couldn't get us the piece so they had to replace it, but with a totally different kart cus they didn't have anymore of the other. Then we got the new one a month and a half later and of course, it was missing a piece they couldnt get for us. So we gave up on jc penny. Then we got another kart from another store and I had them check that every piece was there. We got it in maine near my parents house and brought it back to ny. FH was building it last weekend and one of the sides was bashd in. So now we have to bring it back to maine. Where can I get a kart that will be delievered and built by someone else? My kitchen is a mess and I have to use the floor someties to spread things out and its beyond annoying!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions will be appreciated!!!! TIA!

I havn't checked aywhere else out yet. Do you think those places will deliver them already assembled or will set them up for us? I guess I should start calling stores...

I was going to suggest BB&B but what they might do is not deliver but maybe give you an assembled one?

Re: Kitchen kart help!

why not just get a cabinet from Home Depot and put a counter on top of it?

Fh and I just got our JC Penny cart it was on backorder for three months and we assembled the damn thing and it took four hours and i kept saying if something is missing who the hell would know until you get to that part?

everything was there and its perfect = I feel bad for your situation. I looked everwhere and every place else was like $200-$300 more then jcpennys. I will keep my eyes open for you though!

I had the same issue with counter space in the kitchen and searched high and low for a kitchen cart! I got one at Crate and Barrel and I love it! Here is the link to the website. It comes in black and white.

I couldn't find one assembled anywhere - except there is a store by Roosevelt Field that all they sell are kitchen islands and carts - but the one I wanted was over $1000. Do you want me to try and dig up the info on that place for you?

No - it is in a shopping plaza I believe off of Glen Cove Road - I want to say like where the Party City is, but I forget. I am looking online, but can't find anything. I will FM you if I figure it out.

Re: Kitchen kart help!

there are a few places on Voice Road- right off of Glen Cove Road (across from Big Lots, Dress Barn, Carters etc). I think there's 3 furniture stores over there, but the one I can remember is JD Brauner.....but the other place a couple doors down is even more reasonably priced than them, so check them out.

I'm thinking IKEA. They wont put it together for you but I've always had all of the needed parts. Good luck!
