and now we arent sure if we can use it or not in the apartment that we may be renting. We think there is a possibility that the table may be too high. The apartment is in a basement.
The table has been on back order, and we wont pay anything for it until it is delivered. It has been on back order for two months now.
We both really love the table, and don't want to have to cancel it.
The basement has low cielings.... Maybe 6 foot cielings. Maybe a little higher. Do you think the table will be too high?
Danielle and I don't want to have to return it. We love it. Scott

Re: Kitchen Table Dilemma
I hate to say it, b/c it's a great set, but I think it will be too high- maybe get something that looks similar in the standard height?

Re: Kitchen Table Dilemma
It is high, but I don't think the ceiling height will matter. Get it, especially if you think you will keep the table longer than the apt.

Re: Kitchen Table Dilemma
I can't imagine that it would make a difference. You are not going to be higher than 6 feet. Besides, the basement couldn't have 6 foot ceilings, I think the lowest is 7. I really wouldn't worry about it at all, you are probably going to have the table a lot longer.

Re: Kitchen Table Dilemma
The cieling is at least 6 feet maybe a little higher. I think we are going to go to JC Pennt this weekend and measure the hieght of the table, if it is too high, we will cancel it.
I have to call there to find out what is going on with the table if we decide to keep it. Thanks, Scott

Re: Kitchen Table Dilemma
Its not the table exactly, but it looks just like it. Our chairs are actually nicer....Where did it say that the table was 3 feet high?

Re: Kitchen Table Dilemma
Hi there. I am a contractor and have seen alot of basements but never a six foot ceiling. That is too low for the house to have awhat is called a basement. That is a stylish yet functionable set. I would go ahead and purchase it because you will have it longer than the apt. Good luck.
