We are looking for kitchen tables that have the tile tops. There doesn't seem to be many out there! Any suggestions on a good place to look?

did you try Fortunoff's? I saw a kitchen table with a tile top that is really nice. I looked for it online, but i don't see it.

I think there is a dinette store, probably a bunch of them, on Old Country Road. You'll probably find some there.

My Dad- I know, I know- I'm always saying this.. makes custom furniture. He does make those tile top tables and you can pretty much pick wood (oak, maple, etc) stain and tiles... that way you'll get what you want.
Oak Furniture on Sunrise Hwy in Copiage (next to Furn-a-kit and Milburn Carpet)... 631.789.5743

We were thinking of getting a tile top kitchen table too! Actually, we are looking into whether they will make our top 'custom' using some of the tiles from our kitchen floor. We just looked at several options last weekend at Island Dinette on Middle Country Rd in Lake Grove. I am sure they have other locations.
Good luck!

I am with JuneBride04, FH and I saw 2 or 3 at Fortunoffs (reasonably priced as well) and we liked one so much we are thinking about buying it!

Re: Kitchen tables - suggestions
I hope no one minds my 2 cents, but I wanted to share our experience.
We bought our tile top table based on the fact that we liked the look of it. Two years later, we hate it.
1. You can't write on it. 2. It's difficult to keep clean (lint gets in between the tiles.) 3. We now have a broken tile and Home Depot does not carry the same size tile at all, so we're in the process of trying to figure out what to do.
Number 3 would probably not be an issue if we bought a better quality table, but at the time we were only furnishing an apartment.
Just some things to think about!

I got mine at Country Parlor. In fact, I also got our bedroom set there. Service is good, free delivery too.
