the guy who SAS uses who will make my slide show wants at least 800$ to put about 20 different pictures in a slide show, which will last about 8 minutes (during the two parent songs). He does it on power point. Is this not a ridiculous amount of money? I think the problem is they still have to be there for the whole wedding to just do that 10 mintues, but still. Anyone have any better prices or ideas? I know somone could probably make the slideshow for a lot less, but I need someone professional to be there and run it! thanks!

Re: kitten79/slideshow questions
Honestly this is really easy to do. I do it at work for our PR dept who do presentations for many of our meetings. Anyone you know works with power point? It is a really easy program to work with, surprisingly. Can you rent the stuff from SAS or someone else and have a guest do it? I love your idea!! But $800 bucks is a lot for something you can do yourself while renting the projector and screens. The only thing the person has to do is click on the mouse and it changes the picture on the screen. That is it really. Sorry if I can't help you with any names of companies that do this

Re: kitten79/slideshow questions
If you can have a television with a dvd or vcr on it, I can make the slideshow with no problem... you would just have to have someone press play! The slide projector stuff, you would have to have computer/laptop, screen, and get all of that setup by someone...
