kittens & biting & litter

How do you get kittens to stop biting? Our new kitten loves to bite our fingers, arms, legs, basically everything he can, even objects. How do we put a stop to this? (p.s. and i'm not really a fan of hitting the cat, so that's not really an option).

Also, anyone know how to get the kitten to stop throwing the kitty litter over their box and on the floor?

gently pull her mouth away when she's biting you and put her on the ground. don't pet her when sh'e sbiting, it will encourage the behavior.

and you can get a litter box with a cover on it to help with the litter going all over the place....they tend to throw it around when they cover up
