Ok....I want to brush my cat TJ's teeth ..he has stinky breath anyone ever attempt this? My DH said he would pay $ to see that happen.

Baja gets his teeth brushed regularly. He LOVES the kitty flavored toothpaste (which is malt). Basically I cover the brush in paste and move it around while he bites it. Our vet commented on how white his teeth were.
Really, where do you get that? Pet store or the vet?

They have it at the vet, but it was really expensive. We got it at Petsmart, it was in the same section as the soaps.

they also sell treats at most petstores for their breath.

While I don't do it as often as I should .. I do brush my kitty's teeth. We get the toothpaste from the vet .. just feel more comfortable getting it there than over the counter.
His toothpaste is chicken flavor .. and he loves it .. which makes it difficult to brush .. especially his back teeth .. because he constantly tries to lick and chew at the brush.
My kitty has asthma .. and we're trying not to have to go to the extent of having his teeth cleaned.
It was recommended to us about 4-5 years ago that he should not have anesthesia unless absolutely needed .. that vet left the business (to be a mom) .. and the vet that took him over has said he probably should have the teeth cleaning done .. but also understands our concerns and we seem to be doing okay with the brushing.
If your kitty's breath is really bad .. you may want to have your vet check it out.
