Kitty from Katrina needs a home, foster or adopt

Kitty from Katrina needs a home, foster or adopt

This guy survived Katrina alone, then survived the flooding. He was hungry and desperate when we found him. Now, he's traumatized and terrified, but coming around.

To make matters worse...he's FELV+ so he has had to stay in our bathroom b/c he cannot be in contact with our cats. He doesn't mind right now, because he's a real scaredy cat, but it's not good for his socialization.

We believe he may be newly exposed to FELV, so he might be able to fight it in the coming months...with proper nutrition and lots of love.

Perhaps if you have no kitties you could just foster him for a while and help him learn that people are really kind and loving? Or, could you open your heart to him and love him for life? He didn't travel all this way to end up without a home...

UPDATED: Kitty from Katrina needs a home, foster or adopt

UPDATE:

I'm scratching his ears now, and he is really coming around. But, he needs more space.

Please, if you have no other animals and can foster him for a few weeks or a few months (until I can figure out what to do), please help....
