Kitty Litter question

Kitty Litter question

We use Tidy Cats because it is the best in my experience to mask the odor. But I find that it doesn't clump the pee that well (sorry if TMI ) It all soaks to the bottom and then when I clean the entire box it's a mess and I have to scrape it off.

what's the best for clumping?

We love Fresh Step Cederwood Clumping litter. Smells great and works great!

We use Arm & Hammer. It is great! It masks the odor, and clumps really well.

Do you use the litter box liners? They save us so much frustration. They keep the actual box clean, and the clumps don't stick to the plastic. We change the bag about every 1-2 weeks because Baja rips through them, but they aren't expensive at all, we buy a big box at the dollar store.
We use the Tidy Cats multiple cat formula just for our 1 cat, plus the arm & hammer deodorizer added in.

Re: Kitty Litter question

I think we use Fresh Step....and it clumps really well. We were using the Tidy Cats one - but it turned all clay-like instead of clumping and got on my nerves, so we switched.
There is also a litter that they sell at Petco that works really well for clumping and is flushable - called 'The World's best Litter' or soemthing.....it's really expensive though.
But as far as clumping and smell go - it was the best I've ever used...

Re: Kitty Litter question

I use the Rite aid brand 'owners choice' kitty litter. It is the best one I have used to date.

I agree! We switched from organic non-clumping to Fresh Step with crystals and love it!
