my babies were so hot last night they were panting! what do you do to keep them comfortable (besides a/c - we only have a window unit in our bedroom)?
if you have long haired kittys do you cut their hair short?

i kno my kitties were sweatinggg ...... lay just sprawled out on the wood floor ......
my one cat has really long hair so we shave him a little in the summer.

Champ is shorthaired and Dumpster Baby is a fluffy long haired. They haven't been panting too bad, we usually keep all the windows open during the day and the ceiling fan going for them. They like the snuggle in the cooler places, like under the dining table and in the dark hallway or bathroom. I also make sure the toilet lid is up for them (THEY ONLY DRINK FROM THE TOILET...WEIRDOS). At night or whenw we're home, we blast the central AC.
