Were you able to get a swatch of your dress BEFORE it came in for your first fitting?
My dress doesn't come in until 3-4 months before my wedding and I don't really want to wait that long to get my veil/shoes...any idea?

I didnt need a swatch because I also got my veil and shoes at Kleinfeld. However, I think if you ask them, you will be able to get a swatch!

I asked if they can send me the swatch when they cut the dress and they said yes. I purchased my veil from kleinfelds but I knew i would need it for shoes.
It hasn't come in yet though.

You can call up and order a swatch - it takes a little while to arrive though - with my designer it took about a month

I actually received a sketch of my dress in the mail with a piece of material attached to it.
