When I purchased my gown, the woman who sold me the dress told me there were seamstresses that work at Kleinfeld that work on the side doing alterations. Does anyone have the list of seamstresses or places to go to alter your gown other than Kleinfelds? My dress needs minimal alterations and their alteration fee is a little high for me!

you can call and they will give you a few non in store places. they gave us a list of places we could go to when we paid but decided to just stick with them so i dont have it anymore.

I contemplated this for a few weeks after I bought my dress there and everyone I talked to about it,both family and on LIW, advised me to stay with Kleinfelds.
I know it is INSANE what they charged (my jaw almost dropped to the floor) but god forbid something happens to the dress, they have to replace it.

It's so crazy! I am not even doing a bustle, that's what kills me! If i was doing a lot to my dress, I wouldnt mind. All they will do is shorten it and take in the top a little and cut it to floor length, it KILLS me!
