Is it me or does it seem to take FOREVER till the dress comes in. My wedding is in about 4 months and the dress won't be in till March. I'm reading all these other girls are getting there dresses in Months b4 the wedding and mine is weeks. Yikes!

Most salons say it takes about six months for a dress order to come in. I think you are just a little anxious which I can totally understand

hey girls....I got my dress from Kleinfelds as well.
Kleinfelds can get the dresses in 3 months if they want to....seriously!!! my sister in law bought her dress from there and got her dress within 3 months and did not have to pay a rush fee or anything.
oh yes Josephine is my seamstress too. I requested her on my contract....

I didn't order from Kleinfeld, but my wedding is close to yours and my dress isn't supposed to be in until the end of March either.

I got my dress from Kleinfelds but at the time had another date on the contract it look a little less than a year for my dress to come in. I think about 9 months or so. They told me because of the beading, blahblah that is takes longer also the particular designer takes longer as well. No need to fear though. They will have it fit and ready in due time.

My wedding is in June...and my dress is coming in March. They said that they don't want to order it too soon because if you have a ballgown it will start to not be as full if it is haning around for too long. I'm going to call now and request Josephine.

my wedding is in September and I ordered my dress way early.....last January. I know I was a bit ahead of myself. But they told me it would not be produced and shipped until right before the wedding because of the detailing on it....it has silver dipped thread & embroidery. and they didn't want the possibility of it tarnishing if it sat there. I just called and they said it should be in sometime around June. did you have the seamstress's name added to your contract's when you bought your dresses?
