Kleinfeld Rave - long

Kleinfeld Rave - long

I know some ladies had a not-so-positive experience there but i wanted to post my great experience there for people like me who may not go there because of pre-conceived notions.

I saw my dress online and unfortunately, the only place it was sold on the East Coast was Kleinfeld which I too dreaded going there b/c of its 'snooty' stereotype.

I had a wonderful salesperson - Audrey. She is all over this site and the knot and I just got lucky and had her - She was not pushy or cheezy at all.

My seamstress was Loretta - Somewhat 'cold' at first and then very sweet by the end of all my fittings there.

Yes the store is pricy (Go during a trunk show or buy the floor sample) and the alterations cap is so high but I definitely got my money's worth -
I had 4 fittings where a ton of work was done to the dress.

And since I am so short, I actually had a train on my dress where there was not supposed to be one (and the train version cost a ridiculous price more) and they left it and created a pick-up bustle for me (with over 6 points).

Every salesperson and receptionist there was nice and friendly... I didn't encounter any snootiness but I did see a few potential bride-zillas there which was actually funny!

Phew -sorry it is so long!

I also bought my gown at Kleinfelds and had a wonderful experience!! I worked with Emo and Irene is doing my fittings. Both are a dream to work with :)
