My mom and I are going to look at wedding gown at 1030 tomorrow and for some reason I am so nervous! I have tried om dresses a bunch of times and was never nervous before. I think its because my wedding is in august and still haven't decided. If tomorrow doesn't work I will pick one of the two I narrowed down at bridal reflections.
Anyone have any advice or a good experience at Kleinfeld? I always feel like on say yes to the dress the girls get dresses given to them way over the budget! I don't want to fall in love and then not be able to pay! A couple of my friends said that is something they do and I'm freaking out!

Don't be nervous at all!! What we see on tv is so much different than what it's actually like. They won't put you in dresses you can't afford because they don't want you to love it and then have to walk away. They won't make any money that way and you'll be unhappy. Just tell them your budget and what you're looking for and they'll help you. I had a great experience when I went. If there was something I liked about one dress, my consultant listened and brought back dresses similar. Good luck and have fun!

I had a terrible experience at Kleinfelds due to a bad saleswoman. The store is great though with tons of choices of dresses, if you can get to them! I did find my dress there, but ordered it at another store!
Don't settle if you are unsure. You have to be happy with what you choose. Don't even try it on if you are sure it is out of budget too.
I also ordered my dress at the last possible moment, like you. HOPEFULLY things will work out.

I worked with Keasha & had a great experience. My appointment went over the hour and a half time limit & I didn't feel rushed at all. She listened to what I was looking for & my budget & brought dresses that fit all of the requirements. She actually had a dress in mind for me from the beginning but couldn't track it down until the end of my appointment & it wound up being my dress!
Like someone above said, it really just depends on who you get for a salesperson. Hope you get a good one & let us know how it goes!

i'm a kleinfelds bride :) which is more of a shock to me then anything lol i went in there for the 'new york experience' my SIL had an awful time and i never once thought i would find anything, sure enough everything was perfect!
i've heard horrible stories from people who have been there and wonderful stories. it all depends on your salesperson, and your attitude going in. just go there knowing your gonna have fun, if you find it you find it, if not you keep looking :) no stress just have fun and try on everything!!!!

Dont be nervous. I got my dress here and before they showed me dresses out of my price range they asked if it was ok. I had a great experience. Rita was my rep she was great. Also, the rep that works with my designer (Marisa) answered all questions, and I even got to meet my designer!!!

It's all about who you get as a salesperson. My lady was terrible and didn't seem to be interested in my appointment at all. She picked dresses which were completely opposite of what I told her I was looking for. I also had a 3:30 appointment, so it was towards the end of the day, so maybe it had been a long day. Hopefully you have a wonderful experience, and if for nothing else, at least you can see where they film and know what you're looking at when you watch the show.

i am a Kleinfeld bride and had a good experience. my bridal consultant was not all warm and fuzzy, but she def knew what she was doing. i brought pics and she pulled them, but then she pulled 'the one' based on all the things i liked about all the different dresses i tried. I also went back form a head piece and the consultant for that was very sweet. After i bought the dress my dad (who used to cut patterns and make clothes) saw a pic and said the fit was off. they put a hold on my dress and had me come back in for a rush appointment with the director of fitting and we got it all changed. when i got the dress, it was perfect. I obviously have to have alterations and my woman is so sweet and talented. It really is a great bridal shop
