im thinking of making an appointment with kleinfleds in the next month or so for my first gown shopping. they seem to be the only shop in the area that has both designers (Rivini and Ramona Keveza) that I want to try. here are my questions: 1. anyone shop there and how was your experience? please post good and bad!! 2. are there any other shops in the tri-state area that you would recommend for these two designers?? 3. if i find a designer gown that i like there, would phyllis and gown find be able to help with the price? does she do designer/couture?
thanks!! i CANNOT wait to go shopping!! ive waited for this my WHOLE life!

Re: Kleinfelds?
I loved Kleinfelds - they had EVERYTHING I was looking for - I tried on at least 30 dresses, they do rush you 'a little' but you get to try on a lot - and after trying on 29 dresses the attandant said 'I KNOW THE PERFECT DRESS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!' She cam back and I put on THE ONE - she was right - it was EXACTLY what I was searching for!! I didn't buy it from them because I live pretty far out east and I didn't want the hassle of going into the city for fittings, so I bought my dress at Wedding Salon of Manhassett

Hi!
I love Romona Keeveza and wanted to let you know they have her gowns at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place...
I don't know about the other designer... I plan on visiting Klienfields within the next 2 weeks. I have only heard amazing things about them.
Good Luck!

If you don't walk in there telling them you don't want to spend above 1500, then they will be more than helpful. I loved my experience there. I was in there more than 2 hours. The woman was more than helpful and I ended up buying a dress I couldn't afford, but the manager even threw in a 'freebie'...although after the amount of money I spent there, it didn't really feel like a freebie.

Re: Kleinfelds?
Kleinfeld is great! I bought my dress there a few months ago. I got a sample dress which at first I was really worried about since they make you take the dress home. But the women who work there are so helpful...they assured me everything would work out fine. I would suggest going on a day they are having a sample sale which is usually once a month. I actually tried on a few Rivini dresses, great designer. I went with a Richard Glasgow dress. Here's the link to it...

I got it for half the price since it was a sample...

Re: Kleinfelds?
I bought my dress at Kleinfelds and have had a great experience so far. They do only allow 90 minutes or so for appts but you can go back as many times as you want. They were very helpful and brought me dresses in all prices ranges (starting well under $1500!). I worked w/ Audrey and found her to be AWESOME! Good Luck.

Re: Kleinfelds?
I got my dress at Kleinfelds -great service. I had about 5 people with me including my dad and they were very accomodating..
I showed my bridal attendent pictures of what I wanted and told her my budget and every dress was on or below what I wanted to spend. I was never rushed and bought the 1st of 12 dresses I tried on.
