Kleinfelds

If u have gone there to buy your dress how was your experience? im hearing such mixed reviews..

I can only tell you my experience. I did not want to go there because I had heard all kinds of things and consider myself a simple, no-name-brand needed kind of girl. I went to Bridal Reflections first, but was not blown away by any gowns or by the service I received. My best friend works in NYC and called to get me in on a cancelled appointment at Kleinfelds last minute. I felt intimidated at the reception desk and in the lobby. Then Kira helped me and was really great. She asked about my price ranges, styles, etc. We brought pics of dresses we liked. She went and found me about 10 dresses. She let me choose which one I was most drawn to. Neadless to say I ended up picking the first gown and am sooo happy with my choice. SO long story not so short....what do you have to loose? GO and see for yourself.

I had a great experience there as did many other girls. Some girls also had bad ones. Listen, you can't really go by other's experiences alone, you have to try it out yourself. No place, no vendor is going to be great 100% of the time. Make an appt and give it a shot. Look at the website and if there's dresses that they carry that you like then go. The worst that could happen is you have a bad experience but the best that could happen is that you find your dress. I for one think that's a chance worth taking. good luck!

I went there after going to a bunch of other places and I have one word...AMAZING!!! They had a huge selection and the people who work there are wonderful. Definitely check them out. I mmet with Rita, shes great.

I went with my friend, and she had nothing but good experiences there---everyone was very helpful.

I would def say to check it out! My Sister and I both had a great experience there. I did get a saleswomen who wasn't the the best but everyone else there is wonderful!

Kleinfeld's was the last place I went...and I wish I would have gone there first! I had a great experience! When I went back for my veil and headpiece in August..I had another fantastic experience...I think you should take the negative comments with a grain of salt..go for yourself and see! You never know..everyone is different! Ya never know!!!

I didn't have any expectations and it turned into being such a magical experience. I did go there with very specific requests...basically I found a pic of something I liked, went to the designers trunk show there, tried it on and said 'that's it!' So it's not like they had to choose a gown for me. Audrey helped me and at first I wasn't sure about her and then as we got to know each other she made the moment. The designer was there that day, she is an amazing woman. We spoke about the details of the dress I wanted to change and she was great about it. She ended up designing my veil and taking my dress measurements. I really did feel like a little girl living out a dream....even though I never expected this to happen (I was dreading trying on dresses because my mom who passed away several years ago wouldn't be with me.)

someone had said before that when they spoke to the receptionist on the phone she said there were no dresses under 1800 dollars...but i hear thats not true...

I didnt buy my dress from there but I did go there to try on dresses once and went another time for a sale. Both experiences were great, people were sooo nice and the lady that was helping me offered me a discount.

i didn't have a great experience! the receptionist was very rude and that was unfortunately the first impression I had. I went to Saks

that is true, dresses are $1800 and over, it also says it on their website

i had an amazing experience there...the saleslady was extremely nice and help, went out of her way.

Went to Kleinfelds a couple of times, with other friends that have gotten married and I have very mixed reviews on them. Two fo my friends raved about them, but my last friend and I had similar experiences.

When my last friend was gown shopping I went with her and felt that the sales person wasn't really attentive. She was pushy and wanted my friend to make up her mind and leave the fitting room since her one hour appointment was up and she still hadn't decided yet. Even though she did buy the dress, we didn't appreciate feeling bullied.

I went a while ago, during a sample sale. I felt like the sales person there also didn't really care and just wanted me to purchase a dress. She didn't sound sincere in her comments and felt she was slightly pushy as well.

That is true.

I had a great experience with them. The sales lady was great and their service was great too. I ordered a dress on sunday and i decided that when i went home i didnt like it. I called and cancelled the order on monday and i went back on thursday and picked i dress that i love

I had a great experience there...and even though they tell you over the phone and advertise on their website that dresses are $1800 and over, I managed to find one that was less than $1800 (and it wasn't a sample)!
