I was wondering this myself when I picked up my dress. Maria, my seamstress was amazing. However, you do pay in advance $575 for alternations and mine did not need that much, so I didnt tip her.
Personally - the alterations cost sooooooo much & I really don't think I will be needing that much worth of the service since they ordered my dress custom to my size (i'm petite) so I probably won't tip.

YES! I loved Maria, she was so nice and patient and so reminds me of my MIL. I couldnt bring myself to tip her because I paid so much already for alterations and I asked my MIL and DH and they said no.
It's SO WIERD you posted this today - I started wondering the very same thing in the car ride back home today from work and was going to post the very same question (even though mine's not from Kleinfelds)
