I was thinking of making an appointment to go...but I know that usually their gowns start at $1500. I'm trying to stay at $1000 or lower. Should I mention that when I call? Will I be able to find something at that price at their sample sale?

I don't know about their sample sales and how they work. But I do know that their dresses run from $1500 and up. You should probablly call and see when their sample sale is and go then.
Sample sizes are usually a size 10...but wedding dress sizes aren't like regular dress sizes

The sale is on Sunday November 12th. I made an appointment last week. If you go, you are only allowed to try on the sale dresses and thats it!!!!

about the sizing...they told me the dresses are a 10 but that means a 6!! so you have to be able to fit in them. I would definitely tell them your price restrictions..my sales person, Lea, didn't want to show me anything out of my price range.

it depends on the original price of the dress..and it also varies by who designed the dress

At the wedding salon of manhasset they were 50% off.

I got an email saying up to 70% off. I am DEFINITELY not a 6! I guess I won't bother! You skinny girls are so lucky! And yes, the sale is Sunday November 12, there is also an Amsale trunk show that weekend.
