Just wondering if anyone has been to an event at this place recently (O'Connell Gardens)?
Thanks

It's one of the nicer KofC. Large room. I went to an engagement party there about two years ago.

I was just there for my mothers presidency induction into the woman's auxiliary. What would you like to know? Gina

Re: Knights of Columbus in Oceanside
Well, fiance and I are thinking of booking it for our wedding this October. The price is reasonable and they take care of everything. This is my second wedding so trying to keep it simple and this seems like the perfect place. Just wondering how the food and service was? Any other input you can give on what you thought of it would be great.
Thank you so much.

Re: Knights of Columbus in Oceanside
Congratulations-it's almost here for you!! Yes, we met John this week and I really liked him. Have to call him today if we want to hold the date. Are you having your ceremony there as well? Are you having a buffet dinner or a sit-down? Also, did you go and check out the food at all? He had mentioned something that we can come in while they're having a party and sample some. Hate to bombard you with questions but so excited to find someone who's having their wedding there. What dj, video and photographer are you using?

I went to a wedding there in October of 2004. The large room was beautiful and the food was good. Congrats and good luck!

Re: Knights of Columbus in Oceanside
My parents had their 50th birthday party there and it was fantastic! The room is beautiful and the food was delicious! The bartenders there are also really great if you are getting the open bar. If they hadn't had their party there I would have definitely checked it out since we are on a tight budget. Good luck!!

We're having our wedding there in September. My mother knows of a couple of people who were married there recently & she's heard nothing but good things.

I went to look there too. They were my 2nd choice. I think that place is so pretty. The only reason we didn't book is because I wanted my RH to be closer to my church. I've heard great things about the food. You can't beat the price. Good luck!

Re: Knights of Columbus in Oceanside
Hi,
If you could forum mail me after you attend this shower, I would greatly appreciate it. Just let me know what you thought of the food and the service; I know the place is itself is very nice. But I haven't been to an affair there since two years ago, so want to confirm my memory that the food was very good. If you could let me know what kind of food they had also, that would be great. I really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

I'd be interested to know how everything goes as well if you wouldn't mind. I went to an event at the Seaford KofC & the food & service were wonderful so I'm hoping Oceanside is the same.
