ok this wont help since i cant remember exact address but it was downtown close to astor place. On the corner is a real big starbucks. I text my cousin to find out the place. The have a bar in the front where you can do it in front of a crowd or they have a bunch of private rooms you can use just with your friends.

yeah infact the song lists was insane lol, they have thick books and many of them to choose from

I haven't been there in a year or two but the guy who runs it, the MC...is Sexual Chocolate!!!!! That's the name he goes by.

I've always had a great time there!

Asia Roma in Chinatown...we've been a few time and its SO much fun! Its a restaurant...you can have dinner there too.

Sing Sing downtown.

There is a good one on St. Marks Place.

I think Spotlight Live in Times Square also has Karaoke.

Well well...this is my area of expertise!!! I love to get drunk and make an azz out of myself during karaoke!

My two faves are:

1 - Iggys - 76th and 2nd.
Iggy's website

2 - Planet Rose - 219 Avenue A (I went here for part of my bach. party)
Planet Rose

(Also, keep in mind that Sing Sing is BYOB if you decide to go there)

I would recommend:

Keats (In the 50's on the east side)

Or if you want one where you get your own room:

iBop (In the 30's by herald square, close to penn station) AND it's byob

or 2nd on 2nd - they have private rooms and a good bar area w/'public' karaoke (not byob) - and less expensive than sing sing
