Know any good places to stay in Newport?

I just got back from a girl's weekend there. It's a great place for a bachelorette party! I spent a lot of time there in college and got engaged there.
When are you going? The prices are very high in the 'prime' seasons...We stayed at the Mariott, which was $325 a night (the going price right now almost every where) I can give you some other suggestions of where to stay and good bars to go to if you want. Let me know!

I went to school near there so I can definitely help you out. Do you want a hotel or would you like a Bed and Breakfast. There's a really good inn called the Harborside Inn, which is right next to Christie's which is a great outdoor bar. There's also the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina, and Newport Marriott. They are a little further than Harborside, which is right in the middle of it all. The Inn on Long Wharf is also in a good area, and so is the Inn on the Harbor. Although everything is within walking distance of anywhere in Newport. Check out Newport

ETA:The Newport Bay Club and Hotel is in a great location, and right across the street from the Red Parrot, which is a great place to eat.
