Know any good spas on Long Island?

Hey ladies!

I am dying for a good massage and pedicure and was curious if anyone knew of a great spa on Long Island?

I plan on going before the wedding in 2 weeks!

I am getting excited!

I got a gift certificate to Rain Day Spa in Woodbury. I loved it. Very professional and 'spa' like. I got a massage and facial that I loved. My friends got massages, manis and pedis that they raved about.

Here's a link to their site;

That is what I want to do for my Bach. party but my BMs say that it is too expensive...is it that much more money than other spas?

Cactus Salon - It's in Nassau. My friends go there all the time.

For my bach. party we are going to St. Tropez in Port Jefferson.

Hey aimerliny...
I'm a Massage Therapist @ Rain

Glad you enjoyed it there- who did your massage??? Was it me??? hehe.

I don't think so. The woman was older and didn't mention she was engaged to be married when I did. =)

I love Rain Day too -- but Nordstroms cannot be beat.

What about any salons for hair and make up on Jericho Turnpike? in Syosset or Woodbury?

My clients really seem to like Dakotah for hair (it's pretty much right across from Rain).
I also hear Orpheus is good as well as Jason Royce.
John Megaris gets good reviews too, just not sure where the stylists relocated to since the fire.
Hope this helps.

Salon Osio in Oceanside

Even DH went there for a massage and this 'waterfall' thing that he loved and then I made him get a manicure. He liked it so much he got a pedicure on his own. I've been there too. Very serene.

Hmm, I was just out near the Americana Shopping Center and we passed The Greenhouse Spa and I think there is an Estee Lauder Day Spa there as well. My mom has gone to The Greenhouse Spa and had a good experience.

Didn't The Greenhouse @ The Americana change to Georgette Klinger a couple of years ago??? Thought that's what I heard.
