My brand new colleague is the biggest know-it-all I've ever met.

So, now I'll just say, 'okkkkaaaaaaay, it's that really what you want to do....I'm sure it will work out okay'

But, I say it in a really funny way, so she gets nervous

My FMIL is a KIA. I make a joke out of it with my DH by going overboard and saying things like 'Wow you know everything!' and 'You have lived such a rich life!' and 'You are so right, you could write a book on x!'

thats my technique just sit back and watch-- eventually they all self destruct and implode

OMG my brother in-law swears he knows everything!! I can't stand that about him. If I'm in a good mood I ignore him if not, I just prove him wrong.

I went to college with a girl like this - she was such a windbag that everyone already knew she talked out of her azz, and she usually ended up making herself look stupid without any outside help! That moment is the best to watch two of my b1tchy co-workers think tey know everything too. Imagine that, two people I TRAINED, who started years after me and have less experience.... Amazing how that works, huh? My boss is awesome though, anytime they're really obvious about how much the think they know - she'll occasionally call them on it and when that happens I just sit back and laaaaaaaugh
