I'm thinking of haveing a hula dancer during our cocktail hour depending on how $$? can anyone offer any advice on this? price? thoughts? recommendations?

I don't know of any, but I think its a great idea for the Crescent. It would fit right in and be something your guests would enjoy and remember!!

thanks!! i think it'll be kinda kewl and different too...as you can see from my chat avatar, i'm doing a tropical theme wedding....and if i cant have my wedding in hawaii...i'll bring hawaii to NY!

That is a great idea! We hired somebody to sing Jimmy Buffett music, so if I didn't love this guy, I would have either done hula girls or steel drum. GOod for you that you are doing that!

I couldn't find anything around here, but I didn't try too hard b/c I found the guy I booked. Did you try posting on the vendor board?

Do a google search on unique entertainment long island. They're a local company that I found when looking for an impersonator.

Jenny, That's a great idea I think it would be really cool to see hula dancers during cocktail hour especially on the beach. Good luck finding some at a great price! Have you tried googling it?

Hey ladies, just wanted to let you know i was quoted for 3 hula dancers for 45 min. 995!!!! they said i couldnt have it during CH b/c they need audience particpation.....
so it sounds like that vendor might be out of the ?...that is just way too much $$ ....and i dont want to take that away for the actual reception time.....
