Know of any Asian make-up artists?

Know of any Asian make-up artists?

Does anyone specialize in Asian make-up? My family has told me that make-up (just like hair) can be done wrong if the artist doesn't specialize in Asian make-up. I'm filipino and I am tan. Has anyone else had this problem? I rarely ever wear make-up so I know nothing about it, nonetheless, specialty make-up!!!

Advice ladies?!?!

My makeup artist was Maureen Pedala. She isn't Asian, but she's done makeup for a wide range of skin colors and types. You can check out some pictures on her website (there are 2 or 3 Asian women on there if you want to check out how she did their makeup): http://nyweddingmakeup.com/

Hi Im filipina and am using mia and she is absolutely amazing. She is also doing my sister and mother.

She is the best. she knows to handle asian face.

her name is Eve and if you live near Green acres mall you can see her she works at the MAC counter. She is great!

I booked Sachiko Yanase. I haven't had my trial yet (hopefully in Oct.), but she has been easy to get in touch with and very down to earth.

I contacted almost all the artists suggested on this thread and everyone is BOOKED.

i'm soo last minute i know but does anyone else have any asian friendly make up artist recommendations?

i'm planning on using Sachiko Yanese...shes does great work here on the brides, especially the asian ones!
