ugh! worst ever! I agree! The hospitals are the worst! I love the sunrise med in hauppauge. they always rock..Mather hospital? NO!

one time this lady comes in to take my blood and she sets everything up on my lap, and when she FINALLY finds the vein, my blood starts squirting all over the place!!! And someone ran in and helped her, and she was like 'I forgot the attachment on the end' and the other nurse laughed and said 'you always forget that!!'

LOLOL!!! If that is something she always does, maybe she shouldn't be allowed to take blood, or be in charge of small children!!

Ruined a perfectly cute pair of sweat pants, I might add!!

i hate that!! i'm like a pin cushion to them

i've LITERALLY had 4 different techs try to put an IV in my arm

they finally got a pediatric nurse do it- cause they figure she knows how to get it in delicate and small baby veins

That is the worst!

what an effin maniac!!!!!!!!!!! O man I would have been livid!!!!!!!!

ughh this happens to me all the time. The say I have small veins Everytime I have to get blood taken it takes like 3 people to finally be able to do it and I leave with a black and blue arm and needle holes everywhere like I'm a druggie.

I hear ya! I have good veins and a few months back I had to have an IV put in.. no joke the guy was wiggleing and jerking the needle back and forth and I finally said 'seriously youre not in the vein your in a valve' He goes 'no Im not'.. 2 seconds later he goes 'I hit the valve' Ummm thanks A$$hole! I only know cause i used to do IVs when I was a vet tech and I know what it feels like to hit a valve. So anyway He finally after 3 tries gets it in the vein.. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say My arm was sore for like 2 weeks!!!
