KoC Oceanside

KoC Oceanside

I saw a few posts here regarding the KoC in Oceanside but I figured that I'd start a new topic as I was just given a tip that this is a nice location and the food is decent.

The fees seem to be about 52-65 pp with full open bar and flower centerpieces and a viennese table. This all sounds good to me-FI and want to get a house as soon as possible and with prices going up like they have been we needed to start 5 years ago! We have about 220 invited for a January wedding and they are mostly close family and friends so we should have at least 180-190 attending.

Mainly, I want a good time for all, good food (great not required), and lots of drinks. I'm sure I can live with the flowers and just add the candles that I want. With all of that saved money I'm wondering if I could bring in a room decorating service to add a few personal touches. Then maybe I can even get that convertable that I want! I'd forgo the wedding for a convertable and a drive to City Hall!! Since that's not an option, this seems like a nice compromise-

any major problems with this site?

I've been to a wedding there and it was a great time. The dance floor is a great size and the food is really good. I think that if you dont want to go backrupt from your wedding, this is a great place to have it!

My cousin was married there. its very pretty inside. The staff is nice, food is good and we all had a wonderful time! It will be perfect im sure! BTW if anyone is a Knight in your family you can get a better deal.

Thanks for the replies, so far this looks like the best option for us...there doesn't seem to be any real complaints. My Maid of Honor keeps thinking that there has to be a catch!

one of my bms had her wedding there about 2 years ago and we had the best time and the food was actually not bad. We had the most fun at this wedding so far.

I don't know the place, but if you are planning on getting married in January a lot of the reception halls probably have similar pricing.

I havent been to a wedding there but I have had my daughters confirmation party and my sons first birthday and will be haveing my other sons confirmation party there in July. I've seen the room set up for a wedding though and it's beautiful. The food in my opinion and from what the guest told me were great. There is also another nice one in Seaford that does catering if your interested.
