Koenig's restaurant in Floral Park

Has anyone ever heard of this place? We've been invited to a wedding there in October and I'm getting the impression that it's not very formal. Can anyone provide feedback?

Its a German restaurant. They have an area upstairs for parties. The place itself isn't very formal, but they could still have formal dress.

I've never been to a wedding there, but I have been there for dinner numerous times. They specialize in German food. It's EXCELLENT!!!

As far as it being formal...If the invite doesn't say that it's informal...I would assume it is formal.

It's an older German place, the food is great but the place itself isn't very formal...I'm sure if it's an evening wedding the bride is probably expecting semi-formal dress...

We went to a wedding there and it was very much a traditional wedding. Wore a cocktail dress.

the room upstairs is a typical catering room.

german food.. and its good food..
i heard a couple of months ago they were redoing the catering part of it.. final cost is about $65 a person there...
