No, Korean BBQs generally have the BBQ at your table. Either it's built in, or they bring you a little portable grill thing... and you order different things off of the menu and cook them on your own BBQ. It's fun!
we just went last week with two other couples and it was so much fun! it's exactly what the other ladies described, plus you get all the fun korean 'appetizers' to pick on.
