Kuai is it boaring?

I want to stay in Kuai for 5 nights but I heard it is boaring. What is there to do?

I wouldn't say it was boring, but there was definitely alot more to do on Maui. There were helicopter tours, boat tours of the Napaali coast, snorkeling/diving, hiking , golf and I'm sure there was more on Kauai, but that was all I remember hearing about. We really didn't do too much there, mostly relaxed and did a little bit of sighseeing. We stayed there 5 nights and we preferred Maui. Kauai was beautiful, but I'm not sure that we would go back. If you're going to another island as well, I would suggest you go to Kauai first so you can relax there. We were so exhausted when we first got to the first island we didn't do very much.

We found that there was a lot to do in Kauai!!
We actually ran out of days - b/c some days we wanted to do excursions and some days we wanted to lay by the pool. I could easily spend a week there and not be bored - there's a lot - get the ultimate kauai revealed book - it was great and you could just drive around and find things to do/look at!

i wouldn't say kauai was boring--just more 'mellow'!!!
maui is more happening!
kauai doesn't really have much to do at night after dinner---we did most things during the day........we snorkeled up the entire coast on our own--stopping at all of the beaches, went kayaking which was fun, visited the blow hole

definitely stay in the poipu area if you go

ETA: nightlife: we weren't really looking to go clubbing-although we would have, if we could have found one!!!
-by nightlife i mean 'ANYTHING!!'...no entertainment really--maybe a singer at the hotel? we weren't looking to go clubbing necessarily--we just wanted to do something at night and really couldn't find anything!!!

We are going to Kaui and I am sure we will have a great time. If there is beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, and excurisons during the day, we are happy. We are not big on drinking or going to clubs or bars.
If you hate to lay around, relax, and explore the island, then I would say Kaui would be boring. If you like more night life I would go to Honolulu and then Maui.

Kauai was not boring. Maybe just a little more laid back. I liked that it was less commercial. I want to go back to Kauaii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maui was fun, too but we preferred Kauai.

Again, its not 'boring' but it is definitely more mellow. I spent 5 nights there, and we were out late every night, and up early every morning. It's a lot more nature, and laid back than commercialized... We didn't stay in Poipu, we were going less $$, We stayed in Lihue.. which wasn't the sunniest area, but less $$ and less people than Poipu...

We hiked the waimea canyon, did random beach trips, did a zipline tour (SO FUN)...

Everything we did I found online and with one travel book...
