KWR: UPDATE... Buying stuff - getting it home - seeing its damaged

UPDATE: I went yesterday and brought them back... I picked out a new pair, brought them up to the counter and told the lady my story. She said - 'ohh okay just take them.' so I put the new pair in the bag and she says 'ya know, you just gotta be careful w/ your nails and these things' then she paused and said 'ohh, well you don't have any nails.' LOL THAT'S RIGHT BIATCH I DON'T HAVE LONG NAILS!!! Sooo noooooooo i didn't cause the hole!!!

Anyway - I opened the new pair in the car and made sure they were good - got home and tried them on and wore them around for like a half hour to stretch them out LOL I have issues!!!!

awww that's kinda annoying.

I know what you mean though.... whenever I have to wear tights or stocking I'm just automatically in a bad mood because I am so uncomfortable!

Very annoying. I would demand that you be compensated for the time and maybe they'll throw in an extra pair.

By the way, what company did you get the tights from? Is the actual name SPANX. Sorry, I've been living under a rock...not sure if it is something I should know.

Ugh! I hate that!! When you go back to the store, I would totally insist that they compensate you for the time you spent there yesterday.

Could they have been able to check the packaging before giving it to you?

I hope everything works out!

LOL yea, Spanx. It's the boddy shapper company - they make the stuff you wear under your clothes to s.u.c.k you in! They now sell tights/stockings so I went out to Layne Bryant b/c I know they sell the Spanx brand stuff there instead of buying one pair of tights online.

Lots of women (well one's that I know) invest in Spanx to wear under their wedding dress. So if you are one who needs sucking of stuff in, they are the way to go lol.

ETA: forgot the word S-U-C-K is a no no

hmmmmmm...what is the difference between pantyhose and tights...and where do stockings fit into the mix???? and byt the way, isn't pantyhose just a silly word altogether?

YESSS pantyhose is the worst word LOL

but what I got from the sales lady was that tights are a lot heavier in materials. Then say stockings or the above mentioned word we don't like.

But if you ask me the differenece between those too - nooo effin idea LOL

But thank you - I am glad I am not the only person who didnt know this!!!!

I hate the cold too! I refuse to wear tights, stockings, pantyhose, or whatever you wanna call them! I NEVER wear them, no matter what month it is. But I'm an August bride so I should be good.

oh and pantyhose is definitely the weirdest word!

FYI Spanx panyhose are SUPER FLIMSY i bought one pair for like $20 and put a hole in it by bearly touching it. you are better off getting a cheap pair of panty hose and geting the spanx shorts to put over it. those work much better thent the hose anyway.
