Kyak

Does anyone have one? My husband wants one for Christmas and I have no clue about them.

It kind of depends on what he wants to use it for. Paddling through whitewater? Fishing in the ocean? Leisurely paddling in a lake?

We have an inflatable kayak now but never use it and just want a basic recreational kayak instead. Inflatables are more portable and better for whitewater, but we never get near whitewater any more. We are getting old and lazy and now just want to paddle through slow-moving rivers.
