does anyone have directions? I am going to see her tonight .. I have called her 2x and emailed her 3x (at her request) for the directions over the last week and she has not gotten back to me .. I called at 12pm today and she said she'd do it right away, still nothing. I don't want to call her again and bother her
Geez Jen, I don't know if I would even go. If she dosen't have time to email you directions after a whole week of asking I would be a little gunshy about hiring her for flowers. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

I know Nic that is what I was thinking, then I got a call at 6 that she was in a car accident today .. nothing major .. rear ended .. that is why she didn't get back to me. I am going to try and get in touch with her tomorrow to reschedule and we'll see how that goes. I just have seen her work and its so nice, I really wanted to give her a chance

I do not agree, laurie has always been very quick at getting back to me for even the tiniest things... id reschedule..
soemtimes even a minor car accident freaks out people

Communicating with Laurie can be very difficult, consider this before booking. Of all the vendors I met with, she was by far the worst organized.

I disagree, I had absolutely no problems with Laurie. She was amazing. But I have no sense of direction and I got lost going to her house. My own fault though. But when I booked my appointment with her she gave me the directions right away.
Don't know if you went last night, but hope it all goes well with her! I booked her after going to 7 different florists.

I agree, I had nothing but good experiences with Laurie. She always gets back to my emails within a couple of days. You can always track her down via FM too. Her FM is LA Blossom.
Sorry that I didn't see this last night because I actually have directions to her house in my FM inbox.
I hope that your meeting with her went well. She is very creative and her work is wonderful!

Laurie was in a car accident yesterday..got rear-ended at a light with her kids in the car...so she was a bit shaken up yesterday...and had to take herself and her youngest to the hospital to get checked out...so that's probably why she wasn't able to respond to your calls...also when it comes to e-mail... I have people that don't get my e-mail or vice versa in my business...sometimes it's a techincial issue and not someone with bad response time...thank god my clients call when my e-mail doesn't go thru...good luck!

I know about the accident I got a call last night from her husband, I also know the quality of her work and have seen it first hand and am really anxious to meet with her ... I was just a little dismayed by her lack of communication .. I am a communication freak. I plan on calling today to try and reschedule so I hope it works out.
