Who is using her? Is she fairly priced? When I meet with her do I have to know the exact flowers that I want b/c I'm very undecisive with that part?.....help !!!
I'm having a carribean/ beach theme and I attached my bm dress in the same color. I don't want roses....any suggestions
If your budget is big, go with Orchids. They come in all colors, and are STUNNING. Plus, you can use fewer, because they are so striking. If your budget is smaller, you can still go with Orchids, but use a lot of greenery. Can you tell I like Orchids?

I am using her. Her quote was my second lowest - I feel like the price is very fair. You do not need to know exactly what you want when you meet with her. She will make suggestions. You can look through a book with pictures of her work in it to see what you like best.
I think orchids would be beautiful with the gown you chose - I love the color

I got a pretty high quote from her. I'm intrigued to find out what she is charging out there. I think she charged me the most out of every florist I went to.

i dont think you need to know the kind, but ask if price differs from one flower to another..
off the topic - who makes that BM dress.. it is really nice and i love that color..

Her prices were about the same as the other florists we went to, but even if she was a little more expensive I still would have gone with her! She is just so sweet and really does a beautiful job with flowers!!
I agree with orchids for you... the white ones with the pink center. Also you can use white calla lilies. I'm using both of those.

Hey Girl!
Orchids and Calla Lilies are beautiful but expensive. I would also look into regular lilies (casablanca, stargazer) b/c I think they are less expensive. Or maybe if you are not picky about the flower, you can just go for color instead - like pink daisies or sunflowers. Im sure you can just toss out the look and feel you want and LA Blossom or any other florist can give you options.

I'm doing Dendrobium orchids for the BM and Phaleonopsis AND Dendrobium orchids for my bouquet (same with the CPs - some all Dendrobium and some a mix). FM me for prices - I am using LA Blossom and I got GREAT prices on the orchids from her (MUCH less than others):
Parriott tulips ....they would be perfect - but i dont know anything about LA Blossom sorry

hey there. I am including a link for you so you can at least know some names of tropical flowers.
I am assuming that since you are doing a caribbean theme that your are going for color (I am a BIG fan of color in weddings anyway)
I say go with it- the beauty of the region is all of the bold hues...I don't think white flowers are called for here, but of course that's JMO. good luck and HAVE FUN!
