Ok I may be wayy out of the loop but is Tyleen no longer working at La Quinta in Garden CIty? Does anyone know who we deal with then? this makes me nervous since my guests are going to start booking rooms and she said she would honor the rate online if it was cheaper than our block rate as long as each guest called and wanted to be added to our block....ahhhh

It shouldn't matter. Even if she was still there, there's a good chance that they wouldn't be able to book with that person directly. I was told that just as long as they mention our wedding, they'll get the discounted rate. I blocked rooms off at a different hotel, but it seemed to be the same at all of them that I called. HTH!

She isnt there anymore and they are still training a new person. I spoke to the manager last week and i dont have his name with me at work today but i can FM you when i get home tonight or you can just call and ask for the manager

I'm so upset she's not there. She was one of the major reasons we went with them. She was so sweet and accommodating. I hope the new person is just as great and organized!

I had nothing but trouble with Tyleen. She'd change her story each time I spoke to her. I'm much happier with the help they have there now.

dont be too upset. i dealt with tyleen for my wedding block there in january and she screwed up severely several times. she didnt give out a LOT of the oot bags which pissed me off bc i spent a buttload of time and $$ putting them together and i have yet to know where they actually went since i didnt get them back either, she dropped the ball with my afterparty music and went back on her word last minute so we ended up with NO music, and jerked around my guests and the block of rooms so much it was a disaster for them when booking. yes she was sweet, but she was really not good at her job in my experience. dealing with someone new may not be too bad imo but good luck

Yea i had a good experience with her also. I havent spoken to the new lady yet but when she starts handling things herself i will definetley call and speak with her
