La Quinta Inn vs Hyatt Place

What kind of OOT guests do you have coming? People that would rent a car here or not?

I would say if you have a few people that you'd know that would rent a car and rather drive themselves, I'd include Hyatt Place as an option, otherwise, I'd just do La Quinta.

La quinta you have to have 15 rooms blocked to get the shuttle, that's why we didn't go with them. We blocked rooms at the hampton inn right next door to the hyatt place and the suites are humongous there!!!!!!!!!! They also gave us the conference room for free the night before for our meet and greet!!!!

From what I was told, Hampton Inn - Garden City does not have free shuttles but will provide numbers for nearby companies you can work with. I also booked with them (only 10 rooms), and was also told that the conference room would be free for our use - if all 10 rooms are booked.

Yes we are getting the room for free and are having our 'meet and greet'( rehersal dinner) there, we are gonna show movies and pics of us on the projector in there and get some food from costco and cafe formaggio or baci!!!!!! Yes they do give u the number of a driver, he drives an odessey and charges like $5 a head!

I used La Quinta for my wedding. The shuttle was VERY helpful! However, we did have some minor problems (both before and day of). You have to keep tabs on how many rooms are available in your block. At one point they shorted us 5 rooms. I had to show them the contract and they gave them back to us.
As far as the day of, we had rented out one of their conference rooms for an after party- they opened it up late and then starting kicking us out and cleaning up around us before our time was up!!
Honetly, it wasn't an awful experience, and I reccomend them...but with caution!

That makes me so happy that you told me that the suites are huge!!! I didnt go there to book in person I went for her word.

I am thinking of using Hyatt for FH to get ready so the limo can pick everyone up at the same time (except me)

I know Hampton Inn was not providing a shuttle and thats fine CB is like 2 seconds away from the hotel.
