just wanted to get some opinions... i had my programs all done and everything and then i found out yesterday as some of you may know that two of my bridal party members will not be coming to my wedding due to financial reasons. I am hurt and shocked that this announcement came now, 3 weeks before my wedding, and not 2 years ago when i first got engaged and they were initially asked to be apart of the BP... anyway so being that I have their names currently listed in the program, do you think it would look too tacky if i just put a label over the name? or don't even bother giving out programs? i spent so much time and effort over them and now i feel they are going to be a waste now TIA as always ladies!

I would totally just leave the names there. It was a last minute thing and you did want them there. I would give them out as is, and if anyone asks, which I doubt, someone can explain an emergency came up.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, but I'd still hand them out. You worked hard on them, so what if two names are in there of people who aren't actually there, I think it's okay.

I would just leave it. The label will draw more attention to it, most people will not even notice!

ITA with just leaving it. Don't ruin all your hard work! Most people probably don't look at the list of BP members anyway... it's just a nice acknowledgment.

I agree with the othe girls. It would probably draw more attention then needed. Some people might just look at the program and not look at the names in the program. Others might not even notice. You spent time and money on these and I would just leave it as is and be proud of your work.
