Labor question...

Is there anyway you can tell if the day is coming soon? I mean, the way you feel? Do you start feeling weird/different? I know most of it's probably a myth, but I'd thought I'd ask. Thanks!

The day before I went into labor I had a dull backache in my lower back. It was something I had never felt before.
